Southwark Cathedral’s 2025 Mission Allocation is supporting charities working to meet human need, challenge injustice, share the Gospel and care for creation. Discover how £27,921 raised through congregational giving is being distributed during 2026.

Each year, Southwark Cathedral gives 10% of the income received through planned giving, the Parish Giving Scheme and Sunday collections to charities nominated by members of the Cathedral congregation.

Our 2025 Mission Allocation totalled £27,921, which is being distributed to the selected charities during 2026.

The charities we support reflect the Anglican Communion’s Five Marks of Mission:

1. To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom.
2. To teach, baptise and nurture new believers.
3. To respond to human need through loving service.
4. To transform unjust structures of society, challenge violence of every kind, and pursue peace and reconciliation.
5. To safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth.
