Facilities Officer

Southwark Cathedral is looking to appoint a Facilities Officer to help ensure the Cathedral and its buildings are safe, welcoming and well maintained. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the Cathedral's facilities, working with colleagues and contractors to help maintain this historic and busy place of worship.

Closing date: Monday 17 August 2026, 11.59pm. Interviews will take place on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 September 2026.

Choral Scholar  (Tenor)

Southwark Cathedral is looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic tenor at the start of their musical career for a year-long choral scholarship. The successful candidate will sing as a full member of the Cathedral Choir alongside our professional Lay Clerks, gaining valuable experience in a busy choral foundation and receiving mentorship from the Cathedral’s music team. Opportunities may also be available to work with probationary choristers and the Junior Choir, as well as participate in recitals and partnership projects.

Closing date: Wednesday 19 August 2026, 11.59pm. Interviews and auditions will take place on  Monday, August 24th at 12pm.

Welcome Team Leader

Southwark Cathedral is looking to appoint a Welcome Team Leader to help ensure that everyone who visits receives a warm and inclusive welcome. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the Cathedral's welcome function, leading and motivating the team while helping to create an excellent experience for worshippers, visitors and the wider community.
