A special service to celebrate the arrival of the Order of the Holy Paraclete in Ghana.

100 years ago upon the invitation of Anglican Bishop, Right Reverend John Orfeur Aglionby, the Anglican nuns of the Order of The Holy Paraclete (OHP) from Whitby, North Yorkshire, arrived in the then Gold Coast now Ghana to establish education for the girl child.

Their commitment was to education, health care and provision of spiritual guidance to young people.

Altogether the OHP nuns established seven institutions. St Monica's Secondary School was one of them.

To mark 100 years of Excellence and the legacy from the OHP nuns, we the old students in UK (Union of Old St Monicans UK, a registered charity), are organising this event to celebrate their achievements.
