Occasionally access to the Cathedral may be restricted due to events taking place.
Southwark Cathedral is a busy working church, regularly hosting services and events. It may be neccessary to close all or part of the Cathedral to visitors to allow for these events to take place.
The Cathedral Shop and Cathedral Cafe will remain open during these times unless stated otherwise.

Access to the main body of the Cathedral will be restricted between 10.30am and 12.30pm due to a service taking place in the Nave.
