Occasionally access to the Cathedral may be restricted due to events taking place.
Southwark Cathedral is a busy working church, regularly hosting services and events. It may be neccessary to close all or part of the Cathedral to visitors to allow for these events to take place.
The Cathedral Shop and Cathedral Cafe will remain open during these times unless stated otherwise.
Wednesday 5 November
The Cathedral will be closed to visitors due to graduation ceremonies taking place across the day. Our regular pattern of worship will continue in the Harvard Chapel which will also be set aside as a space for private prayer. If you would like to access the services or the chapel, please speak to a member of staff and they will be able to assist you.
